Ed Wright tells the tragic tale of a lively youngster torn among love and responsibility in wartime Japan; Christine Kearney embraces the complexities of the mythic and modern truth of existence in East Timor; and Jim Hearn chefs up a hard and gritty story of a junkie in difficulty.
The Novella Project marks the start of an ongoing venture, built in collaboration with the Copyright corporation Limited's Cultural Fund, which we are hoping can assist foster a brand new golden age for the novella with an antipodean point of view.
